Ribena is the king of the squash drinks, and that is simply without any question at all. Various pretenders have crept up over the years, from Vimto, to the underhand cheap skullduggery of the Supermarket's own 'Hi-Juice' brand. None of them realise that the best part of Ribena is the combination of gold foil and plastic ring pull lid. I actively look forward to opening a bottle of that sweet purple goodness because of those glorious details.
Lemon squash is acceptable for after a taxing sporting event, but orange is dull. Never offer someone orange squash as it's the equivalent of offering them a pipe, slippers and telling them to put a lambswool cardie on.
